I love hosting my retreats here because Karla helps with all the details and Vivo is such a calm and safe location for everyone to connect. The yoga Shala is a spiritual Mecca, huge, and so inviting. “I absolutely loved everything about Vivo, Karla, and the staff at the retreat center and can’t say enough good things about it all but I will try! The location was great. tucked a little ways above the more heavily trafficked areas of Nosara which made for AMAZING views at all times of the day but especially sunsets and sunrises from the yoga deck. Secluded, quiet, and very relaxing. Karla was very helpful with arranging rides/tuk tuks any time we or anyone on our retreat needed a lift. One of my favorite things about Vivo was the delicious breakfast that the staff prepared daily. SO GOOD! It was so great to wake up to a satiating meal every day. The upstairs practice space was everything and more. There were a few times where I would stop class and ask students to admire the beauty of the sunsets for a moment, such a sweet treat and reminder of the beauty that you’re surrounded by there, and that roof-deck makes it possible! Many more retreats to be had at Vivo, love you Karla and appreciate all that you do!”

Harmony Yoga Retreat 2018. I hosted 8 yoga students at Hotel Vivo. It was so easy to work with the staff and they made all I needed possible. The attendees loved the rooms-each got their own with their own bathroom. The meals were delicious and plenty of good options. They kitchen staff always had meals ready when class finished to feed the hungry ones. The yoga room is one of a kind to this whole area. There are many to choose from but NONE have the view Hotel Vivo has captured. Also my favorite part about this facility is its simplicity. Coming to the jungle and enjoying a simple, low maintenance lifestyle was the bonus each of us received during this retreat. Thank you Vivo!!
