DIRECTIONS
From International Airport of Liberia
The International Airport of Liberia is a 2.5 hour drive to Nosara. Take a right out of the airport on HWY 21.
Follow this road until you reach Nicoya, take a right into Nicoya and continue on HWY 150 towards Nosara.
There is an intersection after passing the gas station on the left side, take the right side of the intersection.
This road will turn into a dirt road (and a bumpy road too), continue on this road for about 30-45 minutes.
Pass Guiones and head towards Nosara. From Selina Hotel continue 100 meters and take a right, go up that hill for about 1 km and you will see Vivo Nosara on the top!
From International Airport of San José
If you fly into the International Airport of San José (4-5 hour drive to Nosara) you can drive to Autopista Interamericana HWY and find your way to Route 27 heading to Caldera.
From Caldera take Route 23 towards Puntarenas and continue driving straight to Route 1 towards Liberia. When you reach Limonal you will see an intersection with a Gas Station and a restaurant called Tres Hermanas, turn left there and continue towards Nicoya.
Once you reach the intersection to Nicoya, take a left into Nicoya and continue on HWY 150 towards Nosara. There is an intersection after passing the gas station on the left side, take the right side of the intersection.

Parking
There is a suitable area for parking located in front or diagonally from the hotel. It is street parking, we don’t have private parking.

You can book a domestic flight into Nosara with Sansa, visit SANSA for flight info and schedules. We can help you arrange a shuttle service from Nosara´s airstrip into Vivo Nosara.

HOW TO MOVE AROUND NOSARA
Tuk Tuk rides are available in the area, they are fun and easy to get. You can contact “Mosca” at +506 8902-6886, he has Tuk Tuks and also a private car. Another driver called Kendall has a private car as well, and he can be reached at +506 8682-5992.
We can also recommend different Rent a Car or ATV companies located in the area. It all depends on the adventure level you want for your trip!
WIFI IN NOSARA
WiFi is available in the main area of the hotel and in some rooms, however please consider that electricity and WiFi come and go in the area of Nosara. Usually the technicians solve the connection problems in some hours.
WATER AND ELECTRICITY
Water and electricity are valuable resources in the area we try to protect, please be mindful of their use when visiting Nosara.
DRY AND GREEN SEASON
Costa Rica has a dry or green season, from November to April; and Green Season from May to October. The difference between one and the other is the amount of rain that can occur… dry season can have days with rain here and there, and green season can have sunny days with no rain at all; they both have their unique charm and advantages. Warm weather is guaranteed year round in Nosara!
BUGS
At Vivo Nosara you will find fewer mosquitoes because of the elevation and wind, but since we are located in the jungle, mosquitoes and bugs are common in the area.
CURRENCY
Costa Rican Colones is the national currency, however US Dollars are accepted all along the country.
ATM
There is one ATM machine located in the BCR Bank, in the gas station in Nosara. There is another ATM at Banco Popular, in the main strip of Guiones, but it only takes Visa.
NO SMOKING
This is a no-smoking hotel. Smoking is not allowed in the hotel premises.
THEFT IN NOSARA
Theft in Nosara is common, as in many beach communities. For your safety please keep doors and windows locked when you are not in the room and during the night. Do not leave any personal items out, use the safe located in the closet. We also recommend not leaving anything unattended on the patios or common areas. Don´t leave any valuables in the car, this also applies when visiting restaurants and/or the beach. Vivo Nosara is not responsible for any loss or damage of items due to theft.
